Senior Internal Auditor – Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will join the Internal Audit team to lead operational and financial audit engagements across multiple group entities, with a focus on manufacturing, industrial and supply‑chain environments. The role involves extensive fieldwork, evidence collection and reporting, and requires up to 30% international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan and methodology, ensuring high‑quality fieldwork and timely completion.
• Test internal controls, processes and transactions within manufacturing, industrial and supply‑chain settings.
• Collect, validate and analyse audit evidence from operating companies and business units across several countries.
• Document audit work clearly in audit management systems and support the preparation of audit findings and reports.
• Track and follow up on audit actions, ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Interact with local finance, operations and management teams to facilitate efficient audit coordination.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit tools, templates and methodologies.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in internal audit, preferably within manufacturing, industrial or supply‑chain environments.
• Experience in multinational, multi‑entity organisations is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and structured thinking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent English; additional languages (French, German, Spanish, etc.) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally 25–30% of the time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COSO.
• Familiarity with audit methodologies and internal audit standards.
