Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity & Real Estate

About the role

IQ Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant specialized in Private Equity and Real Estate to join its Luxembourg team. You will be responsible for accurate NAV calculations, accounting records, and client reporting within the alternative investment fund space.

Key responsibilities

• Perform NAV calculations and maintain precise accounting records for multiple funds.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly NAV validation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Train, supervise, and support junior fund accounting staff in daily tasks.
• Execute daily and monthly cash and stock reconciliations with custodian confirmations.
• Analyze accounting matters, prepare recommendations, and provide ad‑hoc financial expertise.
• Monitor deadlines as defined in the Operating Memorandum and ensure timely delivery.
• Review and analyse financial statements, coordinate with auditors, and support audit processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to share information for NAV reviews.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in Luxembourg.
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably within alternative investment funds.
• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS (other GAAPs a plus).
• Professional, detail‑oriented self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with fund accounting systems such as Multifonds, eFront, Geneva, Investran, and GP3.
