Senior Finance Manager – Banking (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead and develop the finance function of a newly created regulated banking entity within a leading international FinTech group in Luxembourg. The role combines finance, regulatory compliance and business growth, offering the chance to build processes from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Support the establishment and continuous improvement of the finance function.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure finance activities remain compliant.
• Serve as primary liaison for regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee financial reporting, audits and month‑end closing processes.
• Contribute finance expertise to new product initiatives.
• Manage finance‑related outsourcing arrangements.
• Coordinate board and shareholder meetings and related documentation.
• Support payment processes and core finance operations.
• Assist with capital planning and FP&A activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Extensive experience in finance within regulated banking environments.
• Independent, analytical thinker with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach.
• Proven project‑management capability.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Valid Luxembourg work permit.
