Senior Electronic Designer (High Speed Electronics)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electronic Designer to lead the development of high‑speed digital, mixed‑signal and power electronics. You will translate system‑level specifications into manufacturable PCB designs while ensuring performance, reliability and compliance with EMC/EMI standards.

Key responsibilities

• Convert system requirements into detailed PCB design specifications.
• Create schematic captures and high‑speed PCB layouts for MCU, CPU, FPGA, GPU and power circuits.
• Identify and mitigate EMC/EMI issues during the design phase.
• Build, assemble and validate prototype boards.
• Perform design‑for‑manufacturability (DFM) analysis and prepare fabrication documentation.
• Apply high‑speed design techniques such as controlled impedance, transmission lines and termination.
• Collaborate with mechanical, optical and software engineers to ensure full system integration.
• Conduct signal‑integrity analysis using ECAD tools and laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA).
• Maintain project documentation and version‑controlled design data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in schematic capture and PCB layout for high‑speed or instrumentation systems.
• Strong understanding of digital, mixed‑signal and power circuit design.
• Proven ability to manage EMC/EMI control at layout and system levels.

Required skills

• Schematic capture and PCB layout (ECAD) tools.
• High‑speed PCB design techniques (transmission lines, impedance control, termination).
• EMC/EMI mitigation strategies.
• Signal‑integrity analysis.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC‑222X, IPC‑7351, IPC‑7352).
• Use of laboratory equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers.
• Version control systems for design data.
