Senior Business Analyst – European Investment Fund

About the role

VASS BENELUX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg. The role focuses on gathering requirements, designing workflows, and ensuring smooth delivery of IT solutions for financial and advisory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify functional gaps and propose improvements to existing processes.
• Document “as‑is” and “to‑be” workflows and create functional specifications and user stories.
• Support workflow optimisation, reporting and data‑governance initiatives.
• Coordinate with IT, business teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage testing activities, including UAT coordination and defect tracking using Jira.
• Prepare user documentation, training materials and deliver knowledge‑transfer sessions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and future platform enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst on IT/software projects.
• Proven ability to gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Experience with workflow management, business process analysis and Agile environments.
• Hands‑on experience with testing, UAT and defect management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Professional level of English; experience in financial institutions is a plus.
