Senior BI & Data Analytics Solutions Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior BI & Data Analytics Solutions Engineer to design, prototype and deliver data‑centric solutions for a leading client in Luxembourg. The role bridges business needs and technical implementation, providing guidance to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across the data analytics lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and end‑to‑end data analytics products on‑premise and cloud platforms, including data preparation, modeling, visualization, deployment and monitoring.
• Provide training, support and architectural guidance to diverse audiences, covering modeling, design standards and best practices.
• Collect and analyse business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and create reference data architectures.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends and insights for reporting and diagnosis.
• Implement testing, quality‑assurance and automated validation, and maintain solutions through troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Architect, design, deploy and manage components of data platforms, integrating COTS, SaaS and PaaS solutions while ensuring data protection and security.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies, contribute to platform strategy and define best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong business analysis and analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns and gaps in data.
• Extensive experience in data analytics and data engineering, including solution industrialisation.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data‑driven decision making.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
