Senior AML Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AML Officer to lead the end‑to‑end client onboarding process and ensure ongoing compliance with Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations. You will act as the primary compliance contact for a portfolio of fiduciary, AIFM, ManCo and similar clients, guiding them through due‑diligence, risk assessment and remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage the full client onboarding workflow, from initial due diligence to final validation.
• Conduct AML/KYC onboarding and continuous due‑diligence for a diverse client base, including SPVs.
• Review and validate client identification documents and KYC files.
• Perform risk assessments and classify clients in line with Luxembourg regulatory requirements.
• Monitor transactions, identify potential AML/CFT risks and ensure timely remediation.
• Maintain and regularly update internal AML policies and procedures.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during onboarding and remediation processes.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
• Support audits, regulatory requests and internal control activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AML/KYC within Luxembourg fiduciary, AIFM, ManCo or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CFT regulatory framework and onboarding requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client onboarding autonomously.
• Experience with SPVs and exposure to real‑estate or private‑equity structures.
• Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail and strong autonomy.
