Senior Accountant – In-house Asset Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a market‑leading alternative investment manager in Luxembourg. The role supports a growing, international team and is responsible for the full spectrum of accounting activities across regulated and un‑regulated funds, SPVs and holding companies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, invoice processing, bank statement reconciliation and expense reporting for multiple entities.
• Prepare statutory accounts, monthly and quarterly reporting, and assist in the preparation of Lux GAAP financial statements and other GAAP consolidations.
• Calculate management, performance and administration fees, and ensure accurate intercompany loan accounting and reconciliations.
• Coordinate audit activities, respond to audit enquiries and work closely with finance, legal, external accountants, law firms and tax advisors.
• Organise and archive accounting records and support tax‑return coordination with advisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role or within an accounting firm/finance department.
• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP; familiarity with IFRS and consolidation is a plus.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Pro‑active problem‑solver with a strong ambition to develop professionally.
