Senior Account Manager – Real Assets

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead a diversified portfolio of alternative asset investments, focusing on real assets and real estate structures. You will oversee fund accounting and client services for Luxembourg legal entities while driving process improvements and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting and client services for the Real Assets line of business in Luxembourg.
• Collaborate with outsourcing locations and operations to enhance processes.
• Develop and execute client service plans, including regular meetings and needs assessments.
• Ensure delivery against KPIs, service level agreements, fund PPMs, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support onboarding and transition of new clients and maintain revenue targets.
• Assist with client audits, statutory financial statements, and complex transaction guidance.
• Act as the local liaison for key client communications.

Required profile

• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the alternative assets industry, preferably with Luxembourg real‑assets entities.
• Proven ability to manage client service teams and deliver high‑quality financial outputs.

Required skills

• General ledger preparation and review.
• Financial statement preparation.
• Knowledge of Local GAAP.
• IFRS expertise.
• US GAAP familiarity.
