SAP HCM Senior Consultant

About the role

As a Senior SAP HCM Consultant you will support on‑premises SAP customers, developing and maintaining custom ABAP solutions within the SAP HCM/Core HR landscape. You will work in a collaborative, international environment alongside functional, Basis and Security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain custom ABAP objects for SAP HCM (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, payroll schemas, time evaluation schemas).
• Support and troubleshoot existing SAP HR solutions and integrations, analysing and resolving complex incidents and change requests.
• Ensure performance, stability and adherence to best practices across all ABAP developments.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, Basis, Security and colleagues in Luxembourg to balance workload and share knowledge.
• Contribute to technical improvements, optimisations and documentation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Business or Technical fields, or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
• Good knowledge of SAP HCM modules: Personnel Administration, Organizational Management and Personnel Development/Talent Management.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.

• Report development (ALV, HR logical databases).
• Interface technologies (IDocs, BAPIs).
• Enhancement techniques (User Exits, BAdIs).
• Form development (SmartForms, Payslips).
• Payroll schema and rule creation (PCRs).
• Time evaluation schemas and infotypes.
