RPG Developer (AS/400) – Core Banking

About the role

We are seeking an experienced RPG Developer to join our core banking team in Luxembourg. You will work on the Olympic platform, developing, maintaining and optimizing applications on the AS/400 system within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test and deploy RPG (ILE/Free) and CL programs.
• Analyse business requirements and produce technical specifications.
• Maintain and improve existing applications for performance, reliability and security.
• Handle change requests while meeting quality, deadline and budget targets.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and provide L3 support to the Application Support teams.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to propose innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with the AS/400 platform.
• Proficiency in RPG ILE/Free and CL programming.
• Solid understanding of SQL.
• Experience writing analysis and specification documents.
• Hands‑on experience working in Agile teams.
