RPG Developer (AS/400) – Core Banking

About the role

GBT Solutions is seeking an experienced RPG Developer to join its core banking team in Luxembourg. You will work on the Olympic platform, delivering high‑quality, secure, and scalable applications on the AS/400 environment while collaborating in an Agile setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement applications using RPG (ILE/Free) and CLP.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Maintain and optimise existing applications for performance, reliability, and security.
• Manage change requests, ensuring quality, deadlines, and budget compliance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide L3 support to Application Support teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with the AS/400 platform.
• Solid knowledge of RPG ILE/Free and CL programming.
• Proficiency in SQL and database interaction.
• Experience in analysis, specification writing, and software development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and team collaboration.
