Research Facilitator

About the role

The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg seeks a Research Facilitator to support faculty researchers throughout the research funding lifecycle and to promote effective dissemination of research outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and communicate relevant funding opportunities (EU, FNR, etc.) and assist researchers with application processes.
• Support proposal development, budget planning, and post‑award management.
• Coordinate dissemination activities such as press releases, social media, and public outreach.
• Represent the Faculty in internal and external meetings, including project meetings, funder info days, and innovation working groups.
• Maintain communication channels across the Faculty and university administration, ensuring smooth information flow.

Required profile

• Degree in a STEM or health‑related field.
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience, preferably in research funding.
• Proven ability to find and manage research grants.
• Service‑oriented mindset with strong prioritisation and teamwork skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English; French is an asset.
