About the role
The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine at the University of Luxembourg seeks a Research Facilitator to support faculty researchers throughout the research funding lifecycle and to enhance the visibility of their outputs.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and monitor relevant funding opportunities (EU, FNR, etc.) and guide researchers through application processes.
- Assist in proposal development, budget planning, and post‑award management.
- Coordinate dissemination activities such as press releases, social media, and public outreach in line with project plans.
- Represent the Faculty in internal and external meetings, including project meetings, funder info days, and innovation working groups.
- Maintain communication channels across the Faculty and university administration, participating in regular Research Facilitator meetings.
Required profile
- Degree in a STEM or health‑related field.
- Minimum 4 years of project management experience, preferably in research and grant funding.
- Service‑oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Strong teamwork orientation and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Full professional proficiency in English; French at a professional level is an asset.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office suite.
- Grant management software.
- Online collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Slack, SharePoint).
- Project management tools.
