Quantitative Analyst Trainee (5‑month program)

About the role

The European Investment Fund is looking for a motivated Trainee – Quantitative Analyst to join its Quantitative Modelling and Data Science (QMDS) team for a five‑month assignment starting September 2026. You will help design and build an interactive dashboard that automates the NAV Monitoring workflow, supporting investment, risk and finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the existing NAV Monitoring tool architecture, including data sources (Business Objects, eFront) and the R‑based calculation pipeline.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of a dashboard interface covering data ingestion, processing and visualisation of quarterly value‑creation figures.
• Assist in testing, validating and documenting dashboard functionalities to ensure output consistency with the current R framework.
• Support iterative improvements based on feedback from Investment Office stakeholders.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic trainee willing to work under the guidance of senior team members.
• Interest in quantitative analysis, data‑driven tooling and investment reporting.
