QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on QA Engineer to join our growing FinTech company. The role involves both manual and automated testing across payments, KYC, compliance and messaging solutions, working closely with product and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute functional and regression test scenarios, both manually and using automation.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test design, defect analysis, documentation and test data preparation.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to production deployment and post‑production support.
• Collaborate with product owners to analyse requirements, identify gaps and assess cross‑application impacts.
• Work with developers to ensure changes are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
• Maintain optimal test coverage, report defects with detailed information and follow up on bug‑fix prioritisation.
• Monitor automated test suite results, investigate failures and update tests or raise defects as needed.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date testing documentation, including processes and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in manual and exploratory testing.
• Strong analytical mindset and meticulous execution.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Rapid Software testing tools.
• Knowledge of Black Box testing and Session‑Based Test Management.
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and concepts.
• Use of AI‑assisted testing tools.
