QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on QA Engineer to join our fast‑growing FinTech company. You will work on both manual and automated testing across payments, KYC, compliance and messaging solutions, collaborating closely with product, development and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute functional and regression test scenarios, both manually and with automation.
• Leverage AI‑based tools to accelerate test design, defect analysis, documentation and test data preparation.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to production deployment and post‑production support.
• Work with product owners to understand new features, identify gaps and assess cross‑application impacts.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure high‑quality releases and optimal test coverage.
• Report defects with detailed information and follow up on prioritisation and resolution.
• Monitor automated test suite results, investigate failures and maintain test scripts.
• Identify gaps in automation coverage and propose new automated scenarios.
• Create and maintain testing documentation, including processes and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in manual and exploratory testing.
• Familiarity with Rapid Software, Black‑Box testing or Session‑Based Test Management.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
• Initial experience with automation frameworks and concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
• Fluent in English (additional French is a plus).
