Project Manager – Programme Governance & ERP

About the role

VASS Luxembourg, in partnership with the European Commission, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead programme governance and support ERP tool selection for a large‑scale transformation initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain programme governance structures and integrated roadmaps.
• Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, tracking progress, milestones and dependencies.
• Prepare and manage governance meetings, produce status reports, dashboards and governance materials.
• Manage risks, issues and action logs at programme level.
• Support stakeholder communication, alignment and TOM definition approvals.
• Assist with ERP tool selection coordination and related documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of programme management and governance principles.
• 5+ years (typically 8–10+ years) of PMO experience in large‑scale transformation or ERP programmes.
• Proven experience establishing governance structures, steering committees and reporting cycles.
• Experience working with multi‑stakeholder environments including business, IT and vendors.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of programme management methodologies, governance frameworks and reporting practices.
• Expertise in planning and tracking tools (roadmaps, milestone tracking, dependency management).
• Risk, issue and dependency management at programme level.
• Familiarity with ERP solutions such as SAP and Oracle.
