Project Manager – ERP Financial Transformation

About the role

Fincons Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large‑scale ERP financial transformation programme for a major international financial institution. The role focuses on defining the target operating model, selecting the ERP tool, and ensuring seamless coordination across multiple business streams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Phase 1 activities: target operating model definition and ERP tool selection.
• Manage programme governance, planning, reporting and coordination across accounting, budgeting, financial planning, procurement‑to‑pay and data/reporting streams.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, including SteerCo and decision‑making processes.
• Consolidate planning across streams, align cross‑stream activities and track risks, issues, dependencies and milestones.
• Support ERP tool selection and system‑integrator procurement phases.
• Coordinate inputs from stream leaders, business analysts, IT and procurement functions.
• Report to and operate under the Programme Manager.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑10+ years of experience in PMO or programme management support for large‑scale transformation or ERP programmes.
• Proven track record in planning, coordination and tracking of complex multi‑stakeholder programmes.
• Experience establishing and operating programme governance structures (SteerCo, reporting cycles, decision frameworks).
• Background in procurement or implementation phases of large programmes.
• Experience working in multi‑stakeholder environments involving business, IT and vendors.
