Project Manager – Azure Cloud Transformation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic infrastructure transformation for a financial services client in Luxembourg. The role focuses on migrating a traditional IT landscape to a hybrid cloud environment built on Microsoft Azure, combining cloud transformation, managed‑service transition, governance, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement governance structures, project controls, reporting frameworks, and decision‑making processes for a multi‑workstream modernization program.
• Coordinate Azure migration preparation, execution, and infrastructure modernization activities while ensuring seamless sequencing across cloud, on‑premises, security, workplace, and collaboration workstreams.
• Maintain a consolidated project plan with milestones, dependencies, critical‑path management, and delivery priorities.
• Act as the central coordination point between internal teams and external service providers, facilitating service transition, onboarding, and operational readiness.
• Manage risk registers, issue logs, and decision records, providing concise updates to leadership and anticipating blockers.
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives, ensuring governance processes meet auditability and service‑continuity requirements.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale Azure migration or hybrid cloud projects in a regulated financial environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align business and technology objectives.
