Production Planning Analyst – Supply Chain

About the role

The Production Planning Analyst joins Amazon's Production Planning Team to optimize capacity across fulfillment centers. You will develop network‑wide strategies, support staffing and capacity forecasting, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short, medium, and long‑term operational plans to optimize staffing costs.
• Support warehouse staffing and capacity metrics forecasting using statistical modeling.
• Analyze processing capacity data, identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across Europe.
• Collaborate with global teams including operations, HR, finance, transportation, and workforce staffing.
• Support production planning and cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or a related field.
• Proven experience working across cross‑functional teams and partnering at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
• Experience defining and executing program requirements using data and metrics.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation).
• Statistical modeling for forecasting and capacity planning.
