Product Developer – Food & Nutrition

About the role

PM-International is seeking a motivated Product Developer to join its research team at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in Belval. You will work on creating new health, fitness and beauty supplement concepts and improving existing formulas within a fast‑growing international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new product concepts and optimise current formulations for food supplements and functional foods.
• Test and assess raw material samples, prototypes and finished products from suppliers and manufacturers.
• Monitor and digitally manage laboratory inventory, including raw materials and work supplies.
• Perform routine laboratory tasks, maintain equipment and ensure a clean working environment.
• Prepare laboratory trials, prototypes and sample series for internal and external evaluation.
• Conduct chemical‑physical examinations such as pH, bulk density and particle size measurements.
• Record, analyse and interpret product development data to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutritional Science, Food Chemistry or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in product development, formulation or food‑application laboratories.
• Knowledge of food supplement ingredients, functional foods or nutraceuticals is a plus.
• Self‑motivated team player with a hands‑on mentality.
• Strong organisational skills and a detail‑oriented work style.
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
