Procurement Policies and Procedures Officer (12‑month contract)

About the role

ING Luxembourg is seeking a Procurement Policies and Procedures Officer on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role sits within the Finance Department’s Procurement team and supports multiple internal departments, ensuring procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior colleagues in managing client and customer relationships using relevant systems.
• Identify and report instances of non‑compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory codes.
• Develop, test, and maintain procurement procedures and guidelines.
• Carry out compliance monitoring activities and provide basic regulatory advice.
• Coordinate contract lifecycle activities, including drafting, administrative follow‑up, and management of ancillary clauses.
• Manage and monitor suppliers, offering market insights, cost‑reduction ideas, and conflict resolution.
• Communicate procurement strategy and values to internal departments and collaborate with ING Group‑level functions.

Required profile

• University degree (bac + 5) in Purchasing, Procurement or related legal field.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, regulatory compliance, and contract management.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
• Excellent stakeholder‑balancing and problem‑solving skills.
