Process Engineer (m/f/d) – Blast Furnace

About the role

Based in Luxembourg, you will join the blast furnace process department and provide expert support to internal and external customers. The role covers consultancy, detailed audits, and operational assistance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Model and dimension blast furnace processes and equipment.
• Develop new technologies and process solutions.
• Support project teams on technological and process aspects.
• Assist customers in optimizing operation parameters and using key equipment.
• Commission new blast furnaces and related equipment, both cold and hot.
• Plan and execute special blast furnace operations such as blow‑in, blow‑down, and recoveries.
• Support implementation of new and green technologies.

Required profile

• Master’s or higher technical education in Metallurgy or a related field.
• Work experience in blast furnace operation.
• Experience with cold and hot commissioning activities.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work independently.
