Political Science Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This is a remote, hourly contract position where you will lead quality assurance for political science AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated content and trainer work meet rigorous academic and bias‑sensitivity standards, directly influencing the quality of large‑scale AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated political science content and trainer/QA outputs against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on conceptual accuracy, institutional knowledge, comparative context, political theory, policy reasoning, source awareness, bias, clarity, and formatting.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors, maintain documentation, and reactivate inconsistent contributors.
• Collaborate with remote expert teams to manage quality workflows and ensure adherence to project guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Government, Political Theory, Security Studies, Law, Sociology, Economics, or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience in political science research, teaching, policy analysis, public affairs, or related analytical work.
• Strong grasp of English for clear written communication and feedback.
• Deep understanding of political institutions, comparative politics, international relations, public policy, political theory, electoral systems, governance, and political behavior.
