PHP Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our permanent team. You will work on robust backend applications that support our cryptography, PKI, e‑Travel, biometrics and AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications using PHP 8 and modern MVC frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Build and evolve REST and SOAP APIs consumed by mobile and web applications.
• Maintain and refactor existing PHP codebases, ensuring security, performance and code quality.
• Design, optimise and manage SQL database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and handle migrations.
• Write unit tests, contribute to automated testing strategies and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product owners and project managers, and document technical decisions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8, OOP, MVC principles and modern frameworks.
• Experience with API development and authentication mechanisms (TOTP, OAuth2, OIDC).
• Solid SQL skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with ORM tools (Doctrine, Eloquent).
• Good understanding of front‑end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and version control (Git) with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously, strong analytical thinking and excellent communication.
