Network Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Network Administrator to join our EU public‑sector client in Brussels. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and supporting the enterprise network infrastructure to ensure reliable communication services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and support enterprise network components, including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve network incidents and performance issues to guarantee service continuity.
• Monitor network traffic, analyze load, and optimise performance against agreed service‑level standards.
• Install, configure and upgrade network devices and monitoring solutions.
• Perform testing and validation after infrastructure changes and upgrades.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of network availability, reliability and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto and F5 technologies.
• Solid experience with Cisco networking solutions.
• Good understanding of WAN, LAN/WLAN and VLAN concepts.
• Knowledge of network security principles, VPN and cryptographic communication techniques.
