Manager, Ground Operations & Agreements

About the role

The Manager Ground Operations & Agreements is responsible for overseeing contracts and performance of airport stations, ensuring safety, compliance, and commercial efficiency across ground handling services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, select, contract and monitor Ground Service Providers and other airport service providers.
• Monitor Service Level Agreements to guarantee commercial, safety, compliance and operational standards.
• Track overall performance, propose and implement improvements to ground handling and on‑time performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and internal networks.
• Manage budgets, collect data, prepare reports and maintain databases.
• Monitor regulatory and industry changes, updating processes and procedures as needed.
• Support the Ground Operations Safety & Compliance function and report to the designated Ground Operations leader.
• Implement regulatory updates to Ground Operations and De‑icing Manuals using the WebManuals platform.
• Develop, update and maintain operational documentation, procedures, memos and instructions.
• Conduct Management of Change, risk assessments and support audits and inspections.
• Analyse special operational cases and contribute to new airline products and services.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration or equivalent, or proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong facilitation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Excellent prioritisation, negotiation and commercial thinking.
• Willingness to travel for duty.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, document editing).
• Fluent English; additional French or German is a plus.
• Familiarity with ICAO, IATA, IOSA and EASA aviation regulations.
