Manager Accounting

About the role

The Manager Accounting will provide technical oversight and quality assurance for accounting deliverables across a portfolio of SPVs and alternative investment funds. The role supports clients throughout closing, reporting, tax, audit and liquidation processes while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review bookkeeping, annual financial statements, management and regulatory reporting, BCL reports, and CIT/VAT returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify technical risks, inconsistencies or errors and coordinate remediation.
• Act as the technical reference for a portfolio of clients located in Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Assist clients and internal teams during closing cycles, tax reporting, audits and complex transactions.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to Accounting and GCD teams through on‑the‑job coaching, trainings and written documentation.
• Collaborate with Corporate Secretarial, Tax, auditors, tax advisers, law firms and banks to ensure consistent client delivery.
• Support onboarding of new or complex structures by assessing accounting, reporting and tax implications.
• Ensure correct use of internal systems such as Navigator WF, Navigator Doc and QICS and verify adherence to internal procedures.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of applicable accounting standards (BeGAAP, Lux GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP).
• Experience handling accounting for SPVs and alternative investment funds.
• Ability to manage complex client requests and provide technical escalation support.
• Proven collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and external service providers.
