Logistics Coordinator – International Shipping & Documentation

About the role

As a Logistics Coordinator you will manage daily logistics activities, ensuring shipments are executed on time, cost‑effectively and with accurate documentation. You will act as the main link between the warehouse, customers and freight carriers, supporting both routine and hazardous material shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate economical and timely shipments with warehouse and other internal teams.
• Prepare invoices, customs documents, manifests, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
• Arrange direct shipments from suppliers to customers and verify all paperwork.
• Review customer invoices for accuracy before shipment.
• Maintain direct contact with customers for shipping document approval.
• Audit freight bills, ensure correct customer and warranty charges, and authorize payment.
• Handle all documentation required for hazardous material shipments.
• Stay up‑to‑date with international shipping regulations and suggest process improvements.
• Support and develop EDI integration with freight carriers.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Education in technical sales, logistics or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in customer service, customs, traffic department or international transport.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently.
• Technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) handling.
• Hazardous material shipping documentation.
• Customs documentation preparation.
