Legal Trainee – Digital Trust & Commercial Law

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Trainee to join our dynamic legal team in Capellen, Luxembourg. The role offers hands‑on exposure to contract drafting, regulatory monitoring and digital‑trust services within a fast‑growing tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, including those related to electronic signatures and identity‑management solutions.
• Assist in updating general terms, policies and contractual templates.
• Support regulatory work on eIDAS, DORA, NIS2, GDPR and other EU frameworks.
• Monitor Luxembourg and EU regulatory developments and produce internal legal summaries.
• Prepare regulatory and internal governance documentation.
• Conduct legal research and produce notes for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s law programme.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with compliance, IT, security and business teams.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Understanding of contract law and commercial law fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks (eIDAS, DORA, NIS2, GDPR).
• Legal research and clause analysis capabilities.
• Drafting skills for contracts and legal documents.
