Legal Counsel – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Luxembourg office on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role will support investment and business teams across private‑equity, real‑estate and infrastructure transactions, providing hands‑on legal advice in a fast‑paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support legal aspects of investment transactions across alternative asset classes, including private equity, real estate and infrastructure.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and legal agreements.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal, regulatory and governance matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
• Coordinate with external counsel in multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to investment and operational teams.
• Assist with internal policies, approval processes and risk‑management initiatives.
• Contribute to cross‑functional projects and broader business objectives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in corporate, commercial, M&A or transactional law, preferably from a leading law firm.
• Exposure to investment‑related transactions in private equity, real estate or infrastructure.
• Additional experience in investment funds, capital markets or banking & finance is a plus.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational, project‑management and communication skills.
• Fluent English; French and/or German beneficial.
