Junior Mold Mechanical Designer for Product Development

About the role

Join Husky TechnologiesTM’s Development‑Engineering team in Luxembourg and contribute to the design of beverage packaging tooling. After an initial training period you will work on product development projects, delivering high‑quality, reliable and cost‑effective mold designs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute detailed mechanical designs following company standards.
• Perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Develop and maintain complex project plans, set milestones and communicate status.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Some years of experience in a similar environment is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
• Good project and time‑management abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills; French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD applications.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with virtual simulation tools.
