Junior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Junior IT Corporate Support Officer to join its growing IT Operations team in Capellen, Luxembourg. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will provide first‑line technical assistance to internal users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level support for hardware, software and network incidents.
• Respond promptly to help‑desk tickets, emails and user queries.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot basic system and application problems.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.
• Support routine system updates and maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Customer‑focused attitude with patience and empathy.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of macOS operating systems.
• Understanding of fundamental networking concepts.
• Familiarity with common office software and tools.
