Junior Associate – Regulatory Banking & Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Associate to support a leading Luxembourg law firm in its Banking & Financial Services practice. The role offers exposure to regulatory, commercial and contract matters for financial institutions across local and European jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise banks and other financial institutions on regulatory, commercial and contract law issues.
• Draft and review complex banking and financial services documentation and legal memoranda.
• Assist with regulatory licence applications and liaise with Luxembourg and European supervisory authorities.
• Participate in transactions such as M&A and restructurings, as well as contentious matters including litigation and investigations.

Required profile

• Maximum three years of relevant experience.
• Admitted to, or willing to qualify at, a European Bar (Luxembourg Bar is a plus).
• Fluent in English and French; German is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication abilities with a team‑oriented mindset.
