IT Monitoring Specialist – RST Team

About the role

The RST IT Monitoring team at DXC Technology provides 24/7 incident detection, alerting and proactive response for critical business applications and infrastructure. As the first point of contact, you will ensure rapid resolution of incidents and coordinate escalations when necessary.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor systems, detect failures and trigger alerts before service impact.
• Act as the single point of contact for incident handling, routing issues to appropriate technical or management teams.
• Activate Major Incident Management for critical or strategic applications.
• Perform incident management, process customer requests, and manage Active Directory user access.
• Execute datacenter touch‑labor tasks, monthly Wintel security patching, and Windows VM provisioning.
• Carry out basic UNIX administration and support weekend business changes.
• Contribute to change coordination and implementation.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills in both French and English.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
