IT Consultant / Systems & Network Engineer

About the role

Mixvoip is seeking an IT Consultant who will join its IT Consulting team to support small and medium‑size businesses across Luxembourg. You will work hands‑on with a wide range of technologies, helping customers operate, secure, modernise and grow their IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support and advise customers on their internal IT infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft environments (Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, Windows Server).
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux systems as required.
• Investigate issues via command line, read logs and test connectivity.
• Support customer networks (VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, Wi‑Fi, switching).
• Work with security platforms such as Sophos, Fortinet, MikroTik and Ubiquiti.
• Deploy, migrate, maintain and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox).
• Assist with storage and server infrastructure (Dell servers, iSCSI, hyper‑converged, backup systems).
• Write small scripts or tools to automate repetitive tasks.
• Analyse customer needs and propose reliable technical solutions.
• Participate in projects, migrations, upgrades and security improvements.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in IT infrastructure and a methodical troubleshooting approach.
• Comfortable using terminals, reading logs and automating tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and document work thoroughly.
