IT Cloud Architect

About the role

The IT Cloud Architect will design and implement Azure‑based solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to the Azure Well‑Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework. You will work closely with developers, security engineers, and data engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and cost‑effective cloud architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into Azure designs covering compute, storage, networking, identity, governance, and monitoring.
• Design data storage solutions for relational and non‑relational workloads and define high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, and business‑continuity strategies.
• Create and maintain architecture blueprints, reference models, and design patterns for cloud services.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, provide technical guidance, and document architectures.
• Use Azure DevOps and ServiceNow to track tasks, incidents, and changes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high autonomy.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the airline or aviation industry is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
