IoT Engineer

About the role

The IoT Engineer will serve as a primary point of contact for internal users and drivers, handling requests, incidents and questions related to on‑board computers (OBC), telecom modules, hardware and MDM applications. The role combines operational support with participation in technical projects and R&D initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and triage user requests and incidents, focusing on OBC components such as telecom, hardware, MDM and applications.
• Determine escalation paths, set priorities and ensure smooth hand‑over to Level 3 support when needed.
• Document and formalize resolution procedures so that Level 1 teams can address recurring issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and log all activities in the ticketing system.
• Participate in technical evolutions, project delivery and proof‑of‑concept activities with external suppliers.
• Provide training to end‑users and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Analytical, pragmatic and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective team player capable of collaborating with external providers and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Curious, autonomous and driven to innovate.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Programming experience with Python.
• Familiarity with JavaScript.
• Knowledge of SQL.
