Investment Director – Relocate to Dubai

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based investment firm seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process. This high‑autonomy role combines deep market knowledge with operational rigor, supporting senior leadership in enhancing research capabilities and portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment due diligence, sourcing, screening, and evaluating opportunities across strategies and geographies.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of performance, risk metrics, and team capabilities, maintaining regular contact with managers.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, manage trackers, and deliver timely updates.
• Synthesize findings into comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Monitor macroeconomic data, central bank policies, and geopolitical developments to assess market implications.
• Develop scenario analyses and periodic briefs to inform investment decisions and portfolio positioning.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of professional experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• Exceptional research and written communication abilities.
• Proven project coordination skills in multi‑stakeholder investment environments.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
