Integration and DevOps Engineer (80-100% FTE)

About the role

Lombard Odier is looking for an Integration and DevOps Engineer to join its IT Operations unit. The team, spread across Luxembourg and Geneva, ensures smooth integration of new business applications while maintaining high quality and low operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Manage release management processes for production and test environments to minimise operational risk.
• Coordinate planned changes between development and production teams and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
• Integrate new business applications from design through implementation across Dev, Test, UAT and production environments.
• Execute technical tasks based on stakeholder requirements (Security, Platform, Production, Infrastructure, Providers, Development).
• Identify and mitigate risks, technical issues, and dependencies throughout projects.
• Collaborate with third‑party providers on technical specifications and develop reference documentation.
• Estimate workload for IT tasks and drive continuous improvement via Problem Management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Java, JBoss and C++.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as OpenShift and Kubernetes and solid understanding of DevOps principles.
• Familiarity with production tooling including FTP transfers and job schedulers.
• Banking sector experience is a plus.
• Responsible, rigorous, versatile with good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
