Innovation Engineer – R&D Industrialization

About the role

Join Cebi Luxembourg’s R&D Industrialization team as an Innovation Engineer. You will be technically responsible for product design and the transition from mechanical to electronic solutions, supporting leading automotive and appliance manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for product design and make‑to‑production transitions.
• Participate in customer technical meetings and justify design decisions.
• Manage relationships with development partners and coordinate internal activities with Process Engineering, Design, Validation and Methods teams.
• Prepare compliance matrices, product Bill of Materials, and both Product and Process FMEAs.
• Lead the drafting of design procedures and internal technical standards, and organise internal design reviews.
• Support customer visits and actively contribute to innovative product development projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics/Electrotechnics, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Strong interest in IoT ecosystems, including usage, development, programming and network protocols.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Self‑motivated, curious, proactive and fluent in English; additional languages (Italian, French, German) are a plus.
