Infrastructure Architect

About the role

The Infrastructure Architect will design complex, future‑proof infrastructures that align with Proximus Luxembourg’s business strategy and customer requirements. This role focuses on private, hybrid, and public cloud solutions, ensuring they meet security, performance, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define technical standards and procedures for onboarding new customers to cloud services.
• Contribute to business case development, adoption programs, and operational readiness assessments.
• Support project managers in planning, risk identification, and mitigation for systematic onboarding.
• Produce high‑level designs (HLD) and obtain customer validation.
• Collaborate with data‑centre teams to evaluate and improve performance, resiliency, security, and scalability.
• Ensure designs comply with vendor best practices, GDPR, PSF, ISO, SOC2, and other legal constraints.
• Assist the compliance team during audits and certifications.

Required profile

• Strong background in designing and implementing cloud and data‑centre infrastructures.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and high‑level architectures.
• Familiarity with regulatory and security standards relevant to telecom and ICT services.
