Inbound Carrier Manager – EU

About the role

Amazon is seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical, and customer‑obsessed Inbound Carrier Manager to reshape inbound carrier management across Europe. You will lead the operational setup and execution of managed carriers, ensuring service levels meet customer expectations while supporting internal growth and scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute inbound operations strategy in line with Amazon Freight expansion.
• Maintain strong business relationships with external carriers and manage one preferred carrier.
• Deliver inbound KPIs, perform root‑cause analysis, design solutions, and implement improvements.
• Achieve fixed and variable cost targets through procurement and peak‑period planning.
• Build processes, tools, and cross‑functional teams to enable scalable, flexible operations.
• Develop risk‑management strategies and contingency protocols for peak periods.
• Communicate operational status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in program or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, advanced formulas, data cleansing).

Required skills

• Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
• MS Access.
• SQL.
