ICT System Engineer (Microsoft | Cloud | Infrastructure)

About the role

Minusines is expanding its ICT team to modernise its infrastructure. As an ICT System Engineer you will own key Microsoft‑based components, both on‑premises and in the cloud, ensuring stability, performance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID environments.
• Administer VMware virtual machines, storage and backup solutions.
• Ensure high availability through proactive monitoring, patch management and performance optimisation.
• Support and resolve complex incidents across infrastructure and applications.
• Contribute to hybrid cloud strategies and Azure IaaS/PaaS adoption.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell scripting and participate in key IT projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Strengthen security through identity & access management, network security and VPN.
• Maintain clear documentation and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of system engineering or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Windows Server (2019‑2025), Active Directory, DNS, GPO, DHCP.
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• VMware virtualization.
• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, hybrid environments).
• Backup & recovery solutions, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Networking fundamentals (routing, firewall, VPN).
• PowerShell scripting (Python a plus).
