HR Business Partner – Maintenance & Engineering

About the role

The HR Business Partner for Maintenance & Engineering acts as a strategic ally to managers across the division, aligning people strategies with business objectives. You will help shape a positive workplace, boost employee engagement, and support the overall success of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to understand departmental goals and provide HR guidance aligned with business priorities.
• Handle employee‑relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
• Identify and develop talent, creating career plans, succession strategies, and overseeing workforce planning and skills assessments.
• Lead talent‑lifecycle activities such as appraisals, calibration, promotions, and training.
• Support performance‑management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback.
• Analyse HR metrics to spot trends, address issues, and advise business decisions.
• Implement and communicate company policies, ensuring consistent understanding across the division.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of HR experience in areas such as employee relations, recruitment, training, compensation or HR systems.
• Working knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
• Experience in project and change management.
• Strong organizational, autonomous and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French, German or Luxembourgish is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills.
