Head of Managed Payroll Services

About the role

As Head of Managed Payroll Services you will lead SD Worx's payroll delivery team in Luxembourg, shaping its capabilities, efficiency and client experience. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, on‑time payroll processing while driving continuous improvement across the service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop on‑shore and off‑shore payroll teams, conduct appraisals and support recruitment.
• Guarantee compliance with local payroll legislation and manage associated risks.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost accuracy and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Oversee profit and loss for the payroll division, manage budgets and forecast financial performance.
• Collaborate with implementation, sales, services and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and avoid silos.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Extensive experience managing payroll services in a complex, multi‑stream environment.
• Proven ability to work with remote delivery centres.
• Experience applying formal change‑management methodologies.
