Head of Managed Payroll Services

About the role

SD Worx is looking for a Head of Managed Payroll Services to lead its payroll managed services team in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for driving the team’s performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering high‑quality payroll solutions to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage on‑shore and off‑shore payroll teams and their managers, providing coaching, performance reviews and development opportunities.
• Ensure payroll processes comply with local laws and regulations while managing associated risks.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Oversee profit and loss for the payroll services division, manage budgets, forecast performance and optimise profitability.
• Collaborate with implementation, sales, services and product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Significant experience in payroll services management, preferably within a large, complex organisation.
• Proven ability to lead remote delivery centres and multi‑stream programmes.
• Experience using formal change‑management methodologies.
