Head of IT Data Governance & Analytics

About the role

Eurobank Private Bank Luxembourg is seeking a senior IT professional to lead its Data Governance & Analytics Section. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery of data, reporting and analytics solutions that support operational, management and regulatory needs across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Member of the IT Management Team and Change Advisory Board, representing Data & Analytics in governance forums.
• Define, document and maintain the Data & Analytics product vision, roadmap and regulatory reporting strategy.
• Prioritise deliverables, manage commitments and report progress against KPIs and project methodology.
• Lead design and delivery of large‑scale BI solutions, including Temenos Analytics, ETL routines, data marts and reporting models.
• Oversee data discovery, root‑cause analysis and remediation of data‑quality issues.
• Maintain and optimise the Data Warehouse, data marts and database landscape for performance and resource utilisation.
• Monitor production data flows, manage incidents and ensure reliable end‑of‑day ETL processing.
• Ensure user provisioning, access controls and data security for analytics environments.
• Own the roadmap and delivery of enterprise and regulatory reports, acting as subject‑matter expert for regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in IT data governance, analytics or business intelligence within a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and ability to translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across business units and external vendors.
• Ability to define strategy, prioritise work and drive execution in a fast‑changing environment.
