Head of Finance – European Operations

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Head of Finance to lead our European finance function from Luxembourg. This senior leadership position offers significant ownership, cross‑border exposure and the chance to shape finance processes in a fast‑paced, regulated crypto environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European Finance team, ensuring accurate reporting, robust financial controls and continuous process improvement.
• Oversee all financial accounting activities, including month‑end and year‑end close, financial reporting, audits and regulatory submissions.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, delivering variance analysis and performance insights.
• Partner with Operations, Compliance and global teams to ensure effective financial governance, treasury management and process alignment.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience within regulated financial services such as banking, fintech or payments.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with exposure to IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
